ok i changed my lock cylinder in my 94 TA the part you put the key into on the column. wel anywho i changed it and now w/ the key turned to on the dash does not light up and when turned to acc (the one back position) the radio does not turn on. does this also point to my ignition switch being bad???? or the rods that the cylinder turns??

Re: troubles w/ lock cylinder

Its possible that when you installed the ignition cylinder that the teeth on the sector gear werent lined up properly with the rack. The ignition is actually a box on the top of the steering collum that the rod and rack attach to.
