OBD1 codes 16 and 29
Motivated by my HOA's threat of possibly removing my vehicle from my driveway, I took my 95 camaro to O'Reily's to get it scanned. I got from them that codes 16 and 29 were active. After some research, I found that code 29 was related to the AIR pump. It keeps blowing the fuse, so I figure it's bad. From what I understand, it's a waste of time to replace it, and it's better to put a fuse, and unplug the pump.
My question is about code 16. I may have an opti problem, but for now, I just want to get the vehicle inspection done. Will code 16 generate a check engine light that may prevent me from passing the test?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have DTC 16, and the engine is running, it is a stored (history) code, not an active code. If it was active, the PCM would shut down the fuel system, and the engine would not run. Clear the code by pulling the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds. That will also clear DTC 29.
