No heat

I have still been driving my Camaro I'm not ready to start driving my Silverado but since I live in Michigan the weather here sucks and I noticed I have no heat, I don't want to take it to a shop I'd reather do the work myself but does any one have any ideas on why I have no heat at all? Please and thank you

Re: No heat

What year vehicle, and what engine? Makes a difference.

What temperature does the dash coolant temp show? Is the coolant heating up to normal operating temp (200-210*F)?

Feel both heater hoses. Are they both hot?

Common problem in a 4th Gen is a plugged heater core. Take both hoses off the water pump and run water through the core in both direction until it flows clean. If you have an LT1 engine, make sure you don't soak the distributor.
