One of those codes on the "service part" tag you found in the glove box is for the paint. Here's a typical label, showing where the paint code will be:

In the example - BC/CC indicates base coat/clear coat. "41" was the GM code for Black.
Your car sounds like "37" - "Bright Teal" on the Camaro, "Dark Aqua Metallic" on the Firebird. I still have the dealer literature on my 94 Firebird, with the color samples, and Dark Aqua Metallic is a mix of green and blue.
The only other alternative would be "18" - "Dark Green Gray".
