Smile My 96 Low beams wont turn on

I have a 96 with a 3.8 and just all of a sudden my low beams will not turn on. I have highs but no lows. I pulled the plug and hit it with a meter, I got juice to the plugs but no lights. I dont think they would both just go out, would they?

Please help.

It's possible. If you have proven power and ground are getting to the lamps, what else could it be?

I had the same thing happen once. Both low beams blew at the same time.

What, there was some doubt? You are not the first to have this happen.

I just had never seen that. I pulled in the house went inside came out and No lights..lol I thought it was the switch at first going bad, but I tested the plugs and got juice. Again thanks. Oh Do you happen to know if the z28s drive shaft is a perfect match for my 3.8?

Yes, you can replace a V6 d/s with the Z's.

Why do you need to replace it. Does your V6 have the 1 piece or 2 piece shaft on it now? You can get used 1LE or LS1 aluminum driveshafts pretty cheap.
All I know is that people have replaced their V6 shafts with the LT1/LS1 shafts without issue.

The single shaft can replace the two piece also (I have read). $282 sounds like an awful lot. Check the classified section. You can do way better than that.

There is a menu tree at the top of the page.

If you wanted to try out a stock steel shaft, you could peobably get one for next to nothing.
