Manual fan switch question

Manual fan switch question
Which side of the underhood connector do you tap into? The wires on the firewall side, or the wires on the front end side of the connector?

Firewall side is the "prefered" method but doesn't matter really.

I did the firewall side. Like importeater, I don't think it matters.
