I put one in my Blazer. Most people kill the battery or something. But this is an obvous sign that you have a kill switch and then they will probably start looking for it. I grounded the coil on mine. So that it would still turn over and try to crank, but it wouldn't. Obvously ground the 12 volt side.

I've got one. I cant remember what we spliced into though. If you try to start it, the engine will try turn over put it wont. Hooked it up to something on the fuse box.

There also cool switches out there that work with magnets. YOu hide the switch behind something, and it will only "turn on" of you put the magnet to it. That way when you away from you car, it wont be able to turn on, unless they have a amgnet and know where to put it.

Whatever you do don't put it in the trunk/hatch area because someone who has their sights set on your car might watch to see if you do anything unusual when you get into your car. Sounds weird I know but if they want your car the smarts ones usually scout it out first.

That's pretty slick. I wonder if you could use some sort of mercury switch for that, since it's metal.

I remember reading one of how to hook up the starter so that you have to press the window up button on the drivers side door in able for the car to start.

Pretty cool.

That's the one that was mentioned earlier on Brent's site. Here's the link.

I wired my ign. kill to the parking lights. You have to turn the parking lights on in order for the car to start. That is if u find my other kill switch.

Damn and I thought this was going to be about a NHRA battery kill switch...which I am installing.

It is expensive that is for sure. Easy to install though!
