Good Jack??

I just lowered my car and my old jack is too tall to get under the car. So what's a good jack to buy that will fit under the car? I don't want to be spending too much money either. Under $100 would be great.

No jack made can fit under the front of my car. I made some ramps with a pair of 2x8 boards.

Cut it at 3 feet, and 1 1/2 feet. Screw the 1 1/2 foot 2x8 to the top of the 3 foot 2x8. Instant 4 inches of ground clearance, drive-on to get jack underneath. Works a charm

What he said, plus if you're going for cheap you can get a mini hydraulic jack (?- ones they use at auto shops, but smaller- dunno the technical term for it) from walmart for about 30 bucks, not too heavy and small enough to fit in your trunk. It's never failed me, plus I've never had to use that nasty thing that came with the car.
