Question Drivers with Turbo 400's!

I’m looking for people with Turbo 400 transmission behind a LT and LS engines. I have to do a swap and I was told to get the T400 because of its superior performance.

I understand this transmission has only 3 gears. Since this is a street car I need to know how the drivability is. Will I be redlining on highways? At 60mph what are the rpms?

Thanks,

You really should have just included this question with your other post.

TH400 in 3rd, 4.10 gears, 25.7" street tires @ 70MPH = 3,768 RPM

Hit the switch for the GV = 2,839 RPM

You decide.......

Do you think the GV would handle 1000tq?

Damn sorry again, I do have the 4.10 in it, what if I dropped it down to 3.73? 1000RPM drop is excellent!

Its simple math....

3.73 / 4.10 = 0.9098

TH400 in 3rd, 3.73 gears, 25.7" street tires @ 70MPH = 3,768 RPM x 0.9098 = 3,428 RPM

Hit the switch for the GV = 2,939 RPM x 0.9098 = 2,674 RPM

Hey bra need another math riddle key, if you can help?

I'm trying to figure out the engine RPM at speed (60mph) with tire diameter, trans gear ratio and ring and pinion ratio.

Basically I want to find out what RPM's I will be turning at 60mph...
