Shoebox has pictures and diagrams of everything. You need to spend some time going through his website. You'll learn a lot more that way.

I can't believe anyone owns one of these cars and hasn't already been there. It is an unbelievable resource, and has been there for 15 years. Plus, Rob/Shoebox has links in his signature.

Specifically, this page. Most of the items have clickable links to pictures of them. Just hover over the item with your mouse, then click.

I have no real idea. I tried some sources, without any success. You can use this link to download a complete service manual for your car. Be advised however, there is an error in the component location diagram for the IAC valve. Evidently it shows the 93 instead. The 96 manual seems to show the correct view. The IAC connector end view looks correct.

Re: Does anyone know what goes here?

The 93 and 94 IAC valve location is the same, but the part # and harness connectors are different.

Re: Does anyone know what goes here?

The location is the same but the location view diagram is not. It shows a square (2x2) 4-way connector instead of the correct rectangular (1x4) connector.

This may be a real long shot: Using the 94 manual and the company where I get Delphi connectors, I could not match the connector number with their stock. But I could find the connector for a 96 that matches the 96 manual part number. If anyone here knows if the 96 connector would fit the 94 valve, this might be the correct part.

The source is:
For 1996:

pins= 12124075-L Delphi Connection Systems | Mouser

body= 12162190 Delphi Connection Systems | Mouser

Here is a body that is close to the 94 part number (12110188) but not exact: 12162188 Delphi Connection Systems | Mouser

You can browse the connectors, but do not trust the images to be accurate. Also, the 94 manual says it a Metri-pack type 150, not the type 150.2 found in the 96 manual and in the links above.

Edit: The links also point to a datasheet on the Delphi web site... but you have to re-enter the part number after getting to Delphi search. See the Documents tab and the 2d drawing (.tif) file for complete details including an options table.

Re: Does anyone know what goes here?

To add to the confusion - According to Shoebox's parts list, 94/95 with RPO KC4 (oil cooler???) have one part # for the IAC valve, and 95 W/out KC4), 96-97 have a different part # for the IAC valve.

Why would an auxilliary oil cooler change the IAC part #? Could it possibly have been with RPO "K34" (cruise control) that determines the IAC valve?

My 94 (very late production number, with KC4) has the in-line 4-pin connector. I just can't get to it (still recovering from shoulder surgery) to pull it off the sensor and check.

Here it is. Too bad I did not remember this source first:
EFI Connection, LLC - Item Details

They have the other style also (2x2).
