Big block swap need help

I'm thinking about doing a 454 swap in my 79 z28 and wanted to know what problems some other people ran into while doing the swap like measurements and clearances all the way to what front springs you used to support the weight of the new motor anything would be helpful just want to know how involved it will be before I start thanks for reading!
