Battery Terminal Connectors (HELP)
I need new positive and negative battery terminal cables! Why, well I decided to cut the stock ends off and switch it to a top post connectors and since then I have had nothing but problems with my battery not charging and my alternator going bad. Its probably just bad luck but I just want the stock cable set up, side post! So thats where I need help, I either need the GM part numbers for both cables or If I could pick them up at a local auto parts store like Napa or Autozone that would be better. Thanx for any helpful info!!

Re: Battery Terminal Connectors (HELP)
My loacl Autozone said they couldn't even get the positive cable for me when I replaced mine 6 months back -something about them only carrying 2 lead cables when our cars need 3 (leads to the starter, alternator and the positive junction block on the passeneger fender).
Anyway. This should do the trick:
Negative - 39" AC Delco part # 4XX39-1C, GM part # 12157374
Positive - 45" AC Delco part # 4SX45-27, GM part # 12157373
Anyway. This should do the trick:
Negative - 39" AC Delco part # 4XX39-1C, GM part # 12157374
Positive - 45" AC Delco part # 4SX45-27, GM part # 12157373
