Spark Plugs now or wait for new headers

So I am in the middle of converting my WP to an electric water pump and in doing so I am replacing the Opti (OEM for now as I plan to upgrade to 24x LS system in the future). I was also looking at upgrading the plug wires and spark plugs in the process.

However, after working on my car for the first time I am seeing that the plugs and spark plugs are going to be a pain but seems it may be a ton easier if the manifolds were off. I do have plans on upgrading the manifolds to long tube headers in coming months so would it be best to just wait until then to do the plugs and wires and save some frustration?

Thanks in advanced.
