Optispark adapter question

I am installing a 1995 engine with vented opti in my 1994 Z28 with non vented opti. The vented optispark harness connector does not quite fit the cars original harness plug, do I just move the pins to the original connector in the same position?
Thank you!

Re: Optispark adapter question

You buy a "short" Opti harness with the correct longer plug on the end. The short harness starts at the gray 4-pin connector on the bracket on the passenger side of the intake manifold:

I believe EFIConnection sells the conversion harness pretty cheap (compared to the cost of a GM part).
