Clutch/Tranny problems, need help bad

Ok well my car 94 5spd it had been sitting for a year and half. I had the tranny rebuillt with new shift forks/pads, first gear, all syncros, throwout bearing all seals and reverse idler gear and every thing checked out. So i put in tranny and Its really hard to get into gear. If i pumped the clutch then tried to go into gear it would go. No it won't even go in. So i tried to bleed the clutch which i think i did. And didn't make a difference. And in 2nd gear it makes some chattering noise then goes away. The clutch fluid could that have gone bad in that year and half? What type of fluid can i put into the system? How do i know if the slave or master is bad? Sorry for all the questions i just can't figure this out. thanks please help.
