Bone stock LT1/M6 on slicks tips please?
I am going to take my bone stock 94 Z28 to the track tomorrow with no mods but slicks. Anyone got any tips, tricks, or shift point advise for me? I am used to holding the trans brake button in my mustang and letting it rip so this will be a little different.

Take it to about 5 grand and dump it. I highly doubt you will break the rearend if the clutch and gears are stock. Most guys on this board have absolutely no clue how strong the 10 bolt is.

We have specific forums for specific topics..... launching on slicks doesn't belong on LT1/LT4 Engine Tech. Please post on the correct forum.

If you haven't been beating on the car for years ytou will mostlikely be ok launching a few times. Sure I broke my rear more than once but I had 3.73's and it took about 400 passes to break it (each time).
Just preload the driveline and launch like you would any stick car. Sound like fun.
