95 T/A Tunercats - can someone show me where to change my fan settings?
running 200-230 in city - would like ~180
my constant tables reference fan on/oil temp (Corvette?)
can anyone post a screen shot or tell me the table(s) to set my fans on lower based on water temp?
thank you

You said "would like 180*" Unless you have a 160* T-Stat IMO best you should shoot for is 195*f (90.6* C), low speed, fan 1 and 205*F (96.1* C) High speed, fan2 with a stock 180* T-Stat. Otherwise fans will never shut off. I have a 160* and run my fans at 190 & 200 keeps fans off a longer time when stopped in traffic and the 160 T-Stat keeps the engine at about 180 when moving and the fans are out of the picture.. In summer w/AC on fans always run so it stays about 180 all the time.. Others may have different opinions and you have the option to vary temps with what you like, just remember to prevent excessive fan operation the T-Stat should be fully opened before turning on fan 1. T-Stat's vary, but I use 15* from rated temp as a rule of thumb for fully opened.
Crusing at 45 MPH w/o AC on will tell you what temp you T-Stat is opening at ..assuming cooling system operation is functioning as normal.

Re: 95 T/A Tunercats - can someone show me where to change my fan settings?
Thanks - I found it!
Good info.
It runs just under the 200 mark on my gauge at 45mph w/o AC so - 190 stat.
I must have other issue because at a stop it quickly climbs to ~210 then another light or slow traffic up to ~230 - if longer at slow speed gets to boiling hot.
Brand new engine and I just don't want that kind of heat as a starting point before acceleration, nevermind hitting boost.
I have a 160 stat going in today and will check fans for turning on properly.
Another issue - with A/C on during 45mph or highway, temp climbs 10-15 degrees, drops when A/C is turned off.
Again, I do not like this. Why should it run hotter with A/C on?
I'd rather it stayed the same.
With the 160 stat I'd like it to run at 180, hit 190 max in traffic and during A/C on.
Can you suggest low speed fan 1/2 and high speed fan 1/2 settings to obtain 180-190?
thanks

Re: 95 T/A Tunercats - can someone show me where to change my fan settings?
found stock 180 stat like Fed said
160 stat with fan 1 low 80/ fan 2 low 82.5, fan 1 high 82.5 fan 2 high 83.5
speed threshold - 35mph
car warms up to 180 steady, drives through town up to 190 tops and 2800-3000 rpm highway peaks at 212 degrees
A/C it gets a little warmer
I lowered my usual driving temp 20 degrees, solved.
thanks
