For Sale
1981 Suzuki GS 750
22,513 actual miles
800 obo
For sale is a very clean 1981 Suzuki GS 750 that has been owned by 3 separate people. I got this bike from by brother to fix and run but just haven’t had the time to get it going. I hate to think of it sitting inside in this beautiful weather.
The goods:
Brand new custom seat (maybe 100 butt miles total)
New header and muffler exhaust
New side mirror
New Battery
Never kept outside
The bads:
The bike hasn’t been run in about 2 years because it had a leaky petcock valve. I pulled the tank off to fix the valve and had the carbs cleaned while I had it off. The valve is easily fixed but I just haven’t done it.
The bike also has another issue. While my brother had it, the speedometer needle was stuck on full tilt one day. As he gave it throttle, the speedometer needle broke inside, so the bike’s speedometer needle is busted.
Other than that the bike is in excellent shape for the years. It just needs the fluids changed, probably a new set of spark plugs, and a new petcock valve on the gas tank and it should be good to go. I imagine someone who knew about bikes could have this running in an afternoon pretty easy!
I just have too many projects….and my loss is your gain. Plus it couldn’t be any more in the middle of my workshop…
Email me for more photos or any questions and I’ll answer them as best as possible. The title is clean and in hand.
**This bike will need to be taken home by trailer because the gas tank is unhooked.**
