Thumbs up Got my milhouse box today! It's AMAZING!

I can't believe how nice this box is! I ordered this along with the custom amp rack from subthump.com...

All I can say is WOW! It matches my car perfectly, it's also very sturdy. One of my first worries was how it would rest against the rear panels on the well. No more worries, it couldn't be sturdier. I just can't believe how nice this is. I have the letters "SS" on the vinyl side, it looks so good.

My neighbors thought it was stock, it matches and looks that good! Those pictures just don't do it justice. To test I put in my subs, didn't really hook them up seriously ( just wanted to hear ) and it sounds perfect. I have 2 10's and couldn't be happier. My old custom box, I paid close to $350 for and didn't sound NOWHERE near as good.

I just can't stop drooling over this box!

I was going to go the fxonwheels box and I am GLAD I decided to go with the milhouse instead. I am in LOVE!

Gonna post some pics when I get this all done. Having a hard time getting my cva-1005 mounted the way I want to =/

Sounds great that you like your box. what's up with your CVA that you're having troubles with it? I can give you some suggestion on that since that's what I had before my IVAC (which is basically the same isntallation anyway). Let us know what's going on and I'll do what I can to help...

Well,

My main question is the brain...

This is my first CVA, never installed one before but it seems very simple. I bought it used with a 6disc ainet changer for $699 and it's in perfect condition but I don't have any manuals.

I don't know where to mount the brain. It's way to cramped under the passenger front seat and the hump makes it uneven. I want to mount it under the rear driver side seat but I will have to extend all the wires from the wire harness that attaches to the brain all the way to the wire harness in the dash (gm compatible wallmart cheapy )

What wire can I use to extend this without causing distortion? Can I get this at any electronics store? Was going to use shrink wrap to make it nice and clean.

Last question, what all on the brain do I have to hook up if I using amps? Just the power on lead right? and antenna of course...

Are you using an aftermarket amp or going through stock wiring to stock speakers?

And Mega...

Yes, you bet I can trust you man. The customer service involved was perfect. Just so everyone knows, Mega contacted me very promptly on every little detail. I didn't even know what color scheme would match my car, he sent me samples and everything. The whole process was very fast.

I recommend this box to everyone, there is NO way you will find a box of this quality and functionality at a local shop for under $300. My old custom box ran me close to $400, heck just look at the prices at some of those qlogic boxes.

Can't go wrong with subthump, mega seems like he really enjoys what he does and he is damn good at it to boot.

Drmilhouse, thanks for all your help with my cva via email you guys rock!

Yeah, I really do enjoy it. Heck, if I could get enough business, I'd quit my day-job in a hearbeat
