V6 to V8 swap

has anybody ever swapped a 2.8 v6 with a small block 400?
will i have any problems with hood clearance because of the air filter? should i keep my electric fan or dump it and just go with the flex fan. Are there gonna be any problems fitting the tranny lines to the radiator? What do i have to do in order to change the fuel injection to carburetor? Are there any electrical problems i will run into?
I have a turbo350 tranny and it looks like the mounts will have to be changed to v8 mounts. Can i just throw on v8 camaro mounts or will i need a new kit with different brackets?
I've already heard that the headers will be the toughest part to fit in right. So i had a heads up with that part.

i can't really think of anything else to ask right now but if i'm missing something please tell me.

Make sure you replace the front springs or your front end will sag really bad.

If you can't afford the springs, forget about the WHOLE swap.

This is what I can think of off the top of my head that you'll need:

Motor & all accessories
transmission
motor mounts
throttle cable
springs
radiator
radiator hoses
fuel pick-up/pump from a carbed car
all new exhaust from manifolds to tail pipe (including cat)

With a real motor, you can also plan on upgrading to a posi rear, and adding subframe connectors.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but you'll be needing an endless supply of little crap too.

yeah i know about all that stuff... it just keeps on growing too. that list you gave me, i already know and have most.
i guess really it's just the electrical stuff that i am worried about.
the springs was good tho. thanks for that
