4 anyone interested in SLP LT4 clutch....inside

well, i have had my slp lt4 clutch in for about 6 months and have made about 15 passes on it up until saturday (all on drag radials). well saturday i was cutting real low 1.9 60's on ET streets. after getting home and watching the tape, i can see some smoke on every run from the tranny. and driving the car on the street i can definately tell that this clutch is SLIPPING BAD! so, anyway, just thought i should share my experience since clutch ?'s are pretty common on here. i mould highly recommend running this clutch for street use but if u want to run on some sticky tires....get someting else. i, myself, am going with a ram clutch and adjustable slave cylinder. i will let u know how that turns out.

I made 30 passes on mine last year on Nitto DR's with no signs of slipping, clutch held up fine and ran plenty 1.9x 60' and 13.0x's with a few 12.9x's. I think it was the ET streets that killed yours, this clutch is not strong enough for that kind of traction you were getting. If the tires don't slip a little on the launch something else is going to give.
