What gears do I need?

I have a 94 Formula and planning on spraying here pretty soon. stock internals now but will put a cam in when I put it on the spray and I already upgraded the injectors to the #28.5 from a zo6 and bigger fuel pump. Spec stage III Carbon clutch headers and most all the bolt ons.ported polished and recontoured combustion chambers with 1.6 and 2.055 valves.BLAH BLAH BLAH

Now the question is what gears do I need.I'll be running bfg drag radials and a full engine buildup and supercharger might be somewhere down the line but for now I'm thinking a 125 shot of juice will suffice and need to know what gear would do the job. I have a brand new set of 4.10's but am scared they will hurt me and I nneed like some 3.73's.or so but I dont knowthat is why I havent installed them yet.

Let me know what you think and sorry for the long post

12 bolt, 4.10, and a ****ing spool , youll be fine, just put it on the new credit card, and watch your corners

not ready for the 12 bolt yet. When I outgrow the 10 bolt then I'll get the 12 bolt but I cant spend 2500 on a rear end untill I overpower the crappy 10 bolt which I have a little ways to go and more mods before I have to do that.
And why do you say 4.10's ? Do you know first hand they are the way to go over other gear ratios. I have heard the 4.10's are to low and 3.73's were the way to go in my situation and under more boost even higher ratios. I have also heard 4.10's were the way to go. I just need some first hand experience from someone that has tried different ratios and knows what works best with a bout 125 shot and or under boost.
Not saying you dont I was just throwing that out there.
Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing, as I want to supercharge/nitrous. From what I've read most people say 3.73 I would also like to hear of someone who had first hand experience. I know one guy said he had 4.10s with a blower and couldn't beat a stock or almost stock LS1 because he blew through his powerband so fast. Its interesting someone mentioned using a spool, my brother had one in his car and they seemed to drive fine, I know when I drove it, I had to go real slow around corners, or else they would squeel the tires, but not bad at all. I thought about this route since our rears are so weak, and 12 bolts are to much money I,m willing to spend. It is one option you have, those and slicks would hold up real well with 4.10s
