Anyone ever use Castrol Gear Oil?

Besides synthetic, that seems like the best stuff they have at our local Autozone

We use Castrol grease in some of our products at work and it seems to be good stuff.

Any opinions on Castro gear oil.

Just some additional info.

It was Castrol HypoyC 75W-90. It was about $5.00 a pint. I will probably try it unless someone suggests otherwise.

Castrol makes pretty good oil from what I hear, are you sure thats it's a 75W-90 thought, cause I'v been lookin for a non synthetic in a 75W-90. I hope it's not 5$ a pint either, I think mobil 1 costs about that much.

They had 75W-90 and 80W-90. I was going to look in my owner's manual to see if it said which one was recommended for my car.

If I remember correctly, the Mobil 1 was the same price or a little less. I would put Mobil 1 in there but I've read several posts about it being too slipery for the posi unit.

Either way, $10 doesn't seem bad for differential fluid for as often as you have to change it.

They also had Castrol Dexron III ATF fluid for aprox $4 a quart which seemed pretty high as well.

It seems difficult to find name brand non synthetic fluids. All the places either have some sort of synthetic or off-brand cheap stuff.
