What works best for applying and removing zaino????
I dampen the applicator with some distilled water and apply even and thin. Everyone has there own technique. I do a circular motion to get it spread and then the back and forth as a final spreading of the polish.
I use 100% cotton Fieldcrest Charismas from KevinSS to remove the polish. Then I use Gerber flat baby diapers to use the Z-6 after removing the polish.

The best way is whatever works the best for YOU. Applying Zaino on the top surfaces of the car you should work in the direction of bumper to bumper, and on the sides apply in and up and down direction, I try to remove the product the same way rather than in a circular motion that can cause swirls marks if you were to pickup a piece of dirt, this is also true when washing your car
Like Kevin said, there is no cut in stone way to do things and everyone has their own tools and techniques. Personally, I like to use either the Viking foam apps or Sal's cotton apps for aplying the Zaino. I like foam for getting very thin and even coats, however I like Sal's cotton terry apps too and they also work great. I spritz some Z6 on the app before polishing so that's it's damp. I also Z6 the car before polishing it. Anyhow, I generally apply the polish in straight motions so it goes farther. Sal recommends polishing from front to back on the horizontal panels i.e. hood, trunk, roof.....and polishing up/down on the vertical panels i.e. sides. I agree with Sal and think this works the best, at least as far as Zaino is concerned.
For removal, I've used many kinds of towels. I've gone through many cotton towels like the Fieldcrest Charisma/Royal Velvet, Polo towels, Noble Chioce, etc.... I've also started recently using microfiber for removing Zaino and for use with Z6. I absolutely loved the way the microfiber worked in comparison to the cotton! Even the best cotton towels don't seem to perform like a quality MF towel. I got my MF from www.microfibertech.com and I use the "Elite" towels, which I believe are some of the best on the market since they contain more strands (over 200,000) than most. They are very soft, left absolutely no lint (which cotton is notorious for), and best of all they didn't leave a single marr or swirl in the finish. I was truly amazed! I'd highly recommend these! For the price, they are absolutely great!
I doubt I'll buy more cotton toweling anytime soon..... although I do really like the 100% cotton Viking wash mitts.

Thanks for all the replies. I apply and remove the same as most of you mentioned. Just wanted to see if there was some other way to do it. I think I will try the microfiber towels. Thanks!
Ian (MicrofiberTech) does have great MF's
