Best sounding exhaust

Who makes the best sounding exhaust. I like a nice really deep sound. I also want performance but sound is more important because when i race im going to have the cut outs.

If you like a deep rumble, I say a Flowmaster American Thunder system.... but most will tell you that it won't make the most power, which is true. But since you'll have a cut-out for racing, that'll be fine.

Not a deep sound. He asked for a DEEP sound.... the Borla is often described as "raspy"... definitely not deep, IMO.

Try a Random Tech catback or even a cutout. I just took off my stock muffler and love the sound best of all its free and when it comes time for inspection it takes 5min to put on.

SLP's "2 on the left" all the way....
Made of stainless, hangs on the OEM hangers, cheaper cost than the Borla, and sounds great on an LT1.

If you have the money, my fav 3 sounding are the Corsa, B&B Triflow, and who ever makes that Chambered cat back.

I have the "two on the left" and I don't think it's all that deep... It got a little deeper after putting on MAC headers... Its definitely deeper than stock, but not as much as a Flowmaster.

I think a Borla XR-1 sounds the best if you have long tube headers, but for stock I would go with the Flowmaster American Thunder.

I've got a Borla and love it. It definately is not raspy. If it was then I would not have bought it! It has a nice DEEP rumble. It's also stainless steel which is definately a plus. If you want a straight up loud exhaust that is stainless steel go with the Loudmouth. I compared between these two and decided that I wanted my exhuast to have a tone to it instead of just being loud. So I went with the borla. My buddy had the Magnaflow on his LS1 which has a good sound too, and is also stainless steel. IMO, I wouldn't go with anything but stainless steel.
