Did chevy ever make rr that look just like the lt4's but in a 1.5
I have a set of roller rockers that were sold to me used and I was told that they were the 1.6 lt4 rollers, but my friend has the lt4s and he said that all of his are stamped with 1.6 and mine are not. They have the chevy bowtie stamped on them and also "CR 46 96". Are these the same?
It's easy to measure to see if they are 1.5 or 1.6:1. Just compare the distance from the center of the trunnion to the center of the roller tip/distance from the center to the center of the "cup" where the pushrod sits. That ratio is the rocker ratio.
BTW: AFAIK GM doesn't make 'em. Theirs look suspiciously like Crane's, who probably buys them somewhere else too.
