Just got through changing both sides of my DRL bulbs on my 97 Z, because 1 side was dimmer than the other. So i jerked out the dim side and the bulb was black! I was like.. thinking that was the reason it was dimmer than the other side. So, i changed the other side as well and after the job was finished, i turn the car on to see the glowing difference and it was still looking the same. Anyone ever had any kind of problem like this? Could my lense be dirty on the inside? I dont see how, but i'm trying to think of any possible solution.

 

Usually a poor ground is the cause.I would get some contact cleaner to clean the socket too.
