My oil pressure gauge stopped working. It just sits there, lifeless, it's not stuck, it just hangs there. Any advice as to what's causing this?

 

sending unit most likely

mine is screwed up, with any throttle at all it goes all the way up. i tell people its my boost guage, and the sad thing is, some of them believe me

 

It could be the sending unit or the gauge itself. Mine went out and I replaced he sending unit. Now I have to try and find a gauge that fits the cluster. Anyone know were to find a gauge that fits the cluster?

 

Where does one aquire a sending unit? I went to the Autozone this morning and the told me it was unavalible.
I have the same prob. with my car, I tested my gage by turning the igition on and unpluging the sending unit, the needle went to 0 then when i plugged the wires back in the needle went strait up
