Selling my 17 x 9 SS rims to a friend that has an 88 iroc

has anybody put these rims on a 3 gen without spacers?

I dont believe so. I think you need the spacers.

That's what I'm doing, you'll need spacers for sure. Great place for them is here. I got mine before they said they would get in. Not a bad price either. If you do a 4th gen rear end swap you can save by just buying the front 2. And you'll have a nice 4th gen rear

I'll be putting the ten spoke SS rims on my 85 black/black Iroc

 

He will need 2" thick adapters front and rear. That is what I have.

 

If he has a 10bolt rear, have him do the 4th gen rear swap.
If he has a 9bolt with decent gears in it, just use spacers since the 9bolt is stronger.
