fluid dampener brand, any 1 have any experience with "prowler" or "cat" (beleive thats the name of the other brand) thanks all

Are you saying "Prowler" is a damper made by Fluidampr? As far as I know, there are only two aftermarket dampers for the F-Body LT1, including the ones made by Fluidampr (7.5" stock replacement) and ATI Super Damper (7.5" stock, and 6.75" U/D). As to which one is better, you are going to find some people like one and others like the other. I have the ATI, and I know a couple of extremely high HP LT1's that also use it. But for almost $400, why are you thinking about one?

I believe someone sells some sort of rip-off copies of the Fluidampr on e-bay, but I have no idea if those things are any good or not.

 

its not goin on my LT1, its going on my vette, 78, im just wondering if any1 knows if the brand is any good? goin on a 86 carb'd 350 block

 

Then why didn't you say that? This is "LT1 Tech".... in case you didn't notice.
