5176 Dry shot track results

Just got back from the track!
First - here's the weather!
65°F
Dew Point: 36°F
Humidity: 34%
Pressure: 29.89 inches and falling
Wind: From the South at 6 mph

Here's the results!

Well, I started with a first pass of 3200 rpm bottom 5200 rpm top of window
1.876 60'
5.29 330'
8.161@85 1/8
12.78@108.88 1/4
I decided to adjust my window to 3100 - 5300
1.866 60'
5.362 330'
8.277@83.932 1/8
12.979@104.717 1/4
Lot's of knock retard at top of shift - nitrous is too high I figured but 60' is improving SO
I changed it to 3000 - 5200 rpm window
1.780 60'!!!!
5.15 330'
8.017@85.971 1/8
12.58@110.409!!!!

what kind of shot were you running? nice times!

im hoping for 11s this season. first weekend of 03 season is next week!!! its put up or shut up time. she's either gonna haul *** or break

you car mostly stock?? whats it run NA??

I ran a 14.45 right after that run, idling in the lanes for about 10 minutes. Probably would have ran a low 14.3 or high 14.2 if I could have let her cool down again.

ahhhh.....

i feel stupid now. i didnt know you were takling about an Impy.

in that case, VERY nice times

thats alot of juice. ill be running a 150 this season.

hopefully more than one time....


you running a stock bottom end?

Here's my mod list:
NOS 58MM TB

GMPP 1.6 RR’s – stock valve springs - stock cam

Holley Afterburner headers – no cats

Dynomax 2.5” catback exhaust

Meziere Electric Water Pump

PCMforless programming – with personal modifications

30lb SVO injectors

Walbro 340 in tank fuel pump

NOS inline fuel pump

TR6 plugs - .035 gap

Taylor over the valve cover plug wires

Mallory 685 Ignition – includes window switch, timing retard and 2 stage rev limiter

Rebuilt stock converter – 2500 rpm stall

3.08 Stock Gears and posi

4” aluminum driveshaft

NOS 5176 nitrous kit – 175HP shot (90 PSI at the injectors)

ATPSS – electronic full throttle switch

NOS Fuel Pressure Safety Switch – 65 PSI

Stage – Hold brake (2nd rev limiter comes on at 2100 rpm) and floor it! Nitrous engages at 3000rpm to 5200 rpm (shifts set to 5200 rpm for all gears).

Release brake and go.
