Hey this is to all the people that are frequent pasers at englishtown if i have a electric cutout and keep it closed during my launch but open it when goin down the track will they kick me out if its a friday or saturday which is muffled night? I am guessing they r and it is because of this reason I am veering away from getting a electric cutout.

Yes you will get booted out. They will tell if you open the cutout while going down the track.
FYI ,when I had stock exhaust mainifolds, cat, and borla, I passed the noise level with the open borla plate. Long tube headers and no cat didn't come close. Even with the fully closed borla plate I'm on the boarder line.

IMO I would say that if you running stock mainfolds and have the cutout after the cat you will be ok. I believe they will give you the option of "fixing" the noise before they cast you out.

I'll be there too, just dont know when I will actually make it there. I have so much going on right now that I might miss the first few weeks. Maybe I'll just come up and watch.

As for the electric cutout... yes you will get kicked out. You know those guys who sit down by the ambulance on the return road? They will hear it and you wont even make it back to the time booth.

I passed the sound test all last year with long tubes, no cats, and a Flowmaster. From what I have seen, if you have "full" exhaust, (meaning all the way back and exiting the rear of the vehicle) they will let you race even if you are close or slightly over the limit. My car will hit 90-92 db.

As for me, I will be sporting the new "light weight" Project come spring time. 3650-3700 lbs is way too heavy. I'm thinking 3000 is more like it. Just hope that the whole bar thing doesnt interfeer with my plans.... (*Dr. Evil laugh*)

Its amazing how many ways you can loose a bracket race. After 500 runs I still find new ones:cry: "He (or she if Jackie see's this) who commits the least amounts of errors wins the race":D
