i got a MSD ignition that came with my car when i bought it but wasnt hooked up cause the car wasnt running when i got it , so im not sure how it was hooked up. one of the main harness coming out of the ign box has a end on it just like the coil plug, female ends for 2 plugs. so im guessing the 2 plugs going into the coil plug into this harness?, but then it has 1 male plug on that same harness that looks like it would plug into the coil. does this sound like the way this would be hooked up?

 

MSD makes an adapter harness for the box so you don't have to hack up the stock harness. This should be the one for your car.
