fuel rails

I have a '97 LT1 in my '35 Ford and i want to run the fuel lines down the passenger side frame rail. the short hard lines that come off of the fuel rails to connect to the plastic lines are too short to be able to loop my braided lines around and over the transmission to the passenger frame rail.

I was thinking about getting earlier fuel rails with passenger side exit or i know some have real long hard lines off the fuel rail, but none of those seem to have the crossover tube in front. so i was just thinking about using the longer hard lines on the fuel rail from another year...is there part numbers for those?

The 93 fuel rails have the longer hard lines, but they are not routed the same. The 93 rails are set upfor batch fire, the 94+ rails for sequential fire.

Take a look at the 94-96 Corvette rails. They are on the passenger side, although somewhat ugly:

Or, cut the hard lines off the rear of the rails, have -6AN fitting welded on, and run your braided SS lines to the back of the rails. Use an "outboard" fuel pressure regulator, since you won't be able to bolt the stocker to the back of the rails any more. Or... run dual feeds into the back of the rails, and take the return of a -6AN fitting welded to the cross-over pipe. The rails are now in parallel rather than in series, and you have doubled the flow capacity. That's the setup I run.

that picture is not showing up..can you try and fix that? i did a google search for 94-96 corvette fuel rails and it comes up with mostly fuel rail covers.

i have a set of fuel rail covers so looks shouldn't matter much. I will look at the corvette fuel rails, but then my other problem is that I already have a set of the 94-96 fuel rail covers because they seem to be set up to accommodate the drivers side fuel line. I am not sure this set of fuel rail covers will clear a passenger side fuel line exit...any idea?? if i run the line straight out the back of the passenger side fuel rail cover maybe i can clear?

They aren't letting it run hot links. Worked in the past, and it worked for me last night.

Go to this article - the pictures are right at the top of the page. The photos shows the fuel connections and the stock Corvette rail covers:

thanks that picture helps. so they run over the fuel rail cover? I feel like i could pretty easily bend those hard lines down toward the rear of the engine to clean it up. also that is the same set of fuel rail covers i have so that must work. i can't tell from the pic...there is the fuel pressure regulator in it as well? any idea where the best place to buy the 94-96 fuel rails would be, new or used? i checked ebay. thank you sir!
