Will Oil On Clutch Place Ruin It Or Will It Burn Off?

I had a leaky rear main on my car for 40 miles or so. that was 6 months ago. im just getting around to fixing it. I know when it was leaky the clutch did slip under 3/4 throttle (could have been because it was a new clutch not broke in, or the oil -0 or a combination of both).. but now that I have the trans out and im looking at the clutch it does not look to healthy. Should I replace it, or will the oil burn of and not be a problem?

Thanks

If the clutch pads get oil soaked, they are pretty much toast.

ok. Is this something I can identify by looking at the pads on the clutch?.. they dont look real nice but I dont know if its normal how they look now from break in. the slipping could have just been because its not broke in.

and im not even 100% sure it was the rear main that was leaking. it was dripping oil in that area but I did a complete rebuild wihout identifying the leak.
