Cheap software to read DTC with link cable/laptop?

I have '95 and a link cable/laptop and would like to read dtc codes. Is there any freeware or cheap software I can use to read dtc codes?

datamaster has trail period and you can read codes.

I guess I never mentioned my problem. My ABS and TCC lights are on constantly. It's not an engine code I need but a ABS/TCC code which are c1233 and higher. Can anything read those?
