2000 Trans Am Fans

We have a 2000 trans am that some one put a supercharger on it and they put the fans on the outside of the radiator and now they are blowing the wrong way....we have removed the supercharger and now we are putting it back to stock but were looking for the bracket that the 2 fans attached to....it's the big piece that sits in the notches on the radiator........My 95 z28 has it but I wanted to know what all years were the same, I know mine has the same radiator but didn't know if the fan set-up was the same. It's so much fun working with other peoples mess......thanks

No, sorry, they are not. LT1 cars have fans that can unbolt from the shroud. The LS1 cars have the fans molded into the shroud.(have to remove the whole shroud to replace fans, motors.)

hmm well this one has 2 separate fans...they had them mounted on the outside of the radiator and pulling air....it's kinda hard to cool an engine when the air is hitting the front of the radiator and the fans pull it back away, and at an idle it pulls hot air from the engine through the radiator.......professional work was done here....

Sounds like it. For it to work that way, the fan would have to be pulled off the motor and flipped, then the motor wired backwards. Then it would be fine.
