if so many people convert thier cars to obd1 where are they getting them tuned!

You have a 93 (going by sig)? If so, good luck, that is even harder to find. The only place I KNOW of that tunes the 93s is Carolina Automasters in NC.
But as for the other OBDI PCMs or LT1s for that matter it is getting tougher, I have finally gotten my stuff back working so I can tune the local LT1s.....but the market is not there, that is why most have not gotten the tools or have just stopped....

yep i have a pcmforless cam only tune that i had on my old combo. i can send it back and have it reflashed for cheap its just that i know they wont get it exactly right without a dyno tune and i hate leaving out the extra hp..

They now have in house dyno if you want to go to NC, actually, contact them, I still think Bryan is doing the LT1 stuff in a seperate location from Alvin in NC.....I was thinking Bryan was north of NC but not real sure....

il give em a call thanks.

now, out of curiosity, i have a tune for a cc305 cam. my new motor is a high compression 355 with trickflow heads, and a big hr cam.

would using my cam only tune benefit me over the stock tune/ would it be safe to drive the car on that tune? at least until i can get to a dyno?

i would think driving it some would be fine, the biggest concern is if you changed to much larger fuel injectors, if you did then you might have issue with washing the cyl walls.

kaltech in long island i think does it. ida automotive over in NJ does it but he's super pricey.

just buy the tunercats software its cheap especially if you already own a laptop. i took my laptop to cartek in NJ and they tuned mine using my own software. now i just rent dyno time and do it myself.

oh overlooked that. i think you can get a chip burner from moates and get the software from tunercats. 93 is a tough year to have these days.
