A/C reset question
A/C reset question
Ive read about it before on the board, and was just wondering if anybody found a reason for it yet. It happened today again. A/C worked fine, than quit working, I pull the main fuse, (or in one way or another reset everything) this time i jumped the wires on the pressure switch, and it works fine for another 3 months. Anyone? Thanks Eric L
When the pressure in the sys is not up to par, the compressor will kick off and send an alert to the PCM disabling the compressor to cycle on/off. Only way to enable is to pull the pcm batt fuse or disconnect the power to everything. This is just a safe-guard GM put in the system.
Yeah, ive heard of that one also, but thats not the problem. BUT, i wonder if it safeguards both ways. When i checked the system, it was pretty hot outside (which will affect pressure) but mine was actually quite a bit higher than normal (overfilled). I wonder if it safe guards both ways. Thanks for the input. Thanks Eric L
