99 v6 alum ds in 95 lt1 6 sp

i was as a local salvage yard and came across a 99 v6 camaro with a alum drive shaft will theses work in the 95 6 sp lt1 firebird?

anyone know?

is there anyone that knows? if it fits i get a alum driveshaft for 37 bucks thats a steal ?won't last long thanks for any help

I know all the automatics interchange between 83 -02, and have heard that the t56 will interchange, but havnt personally measured or got to use one myself. Measure the one ya got and the one your lookin at. Id say buy it anyway for that price, even if for some reason it doesnt fit, you can turn it around for a nice profit. Do a search for driveshafts in here, Im sure theres somebody thats done this or has the measurements already. I swapped out the 2 piece in my V6 for a one piece from an 89 a couple months ago, but I cant remember what the length was... I think it was around 43 inches or somewhere in there. Should be the correct length though either way. Id jump on it.

It will fit but its was not in that car from the factory. The 99 3.8's had a steel driveshaft (1 or 2 piece) from the factory but alot of v6's guys put in the 1LE, LS1 or aftermarket aluminium driveshafts.
