Coil or Ignition Module or Tachomter or Cruise Control Cable
Coil or Ignition Module or Tachomter or Cruise Control Cable
Ok guys here's the story,
I drove the car down the road and the car was bogging out, I parked the car and went to start it up 2 minutes after i turned it off. The car wont start. There is lots of fuel pressure, and no spark. No spark at the plug wires and no spark after the coil. My tachometer doesn't work at all either. I also replaced a new cruise control module and it doesn't work either. Does anyone have the link to check out shoebox;s way of checking the ignition module is ok?? I looked all night. ALso is the rpm guage hooked into the coil or something? Any help is appreciated. Thanks a million, Greg

As indicated in the PM, the tach is driven off the white wire from pin A13 of the PCM. Sounds like there may not be a low res pulse from the Opti. Have you scanned it for codes?
