No power at fuse #5, PCM doesn't turn on fuel pump...fusible link?

I just finished wiring my T56 conversion. I wired the Reverse Lockout to pin D6 on the Blue connector and the other side of the harness to the positive side of the reverse light harness. I've checked it over and over.

Now for the problem. As soon as I turned the key to the on position with the VSS and Reverse Lockout hooked up, the gauge needles dropped, the PCM no longer turns on the fuel pump(I can jump it at the relay), and I have no power at fuse #5 (PCM IGN).

Is this a fusible link, and if so....is there and easy way of checking them without hacking the wires up?

Next question. If it's a fusible link that burned.....what could've caused it between the VSS and Reverse Lockout? I had no issues prior to hooking them up.

Anything else not work? The same fusible link that feeds that fuse powers many others. #5 is powered through the ignition switch, so it and it's connection could be suspects.
