CLEAR 12-17-2002, 10:59 PM rk sport? 1fastV6 12-17-2002, 11:18 PM its tricky-our exhaust. you will never know till you try. i have changed my exhaust 5 times. and the sad thing is....i am not happy with what i now have. live and learn. a guy in town copied anothers exhaust that sounded so bad azz in his sound clip, but when scott got it, he hated it. wierd huh? chesee48 12-18-2002, 03:49 AM i like the loudmouth on a buddys car... ive never heard the ss takeoff? how does that compare?? fbird95 12-18-2002, 08:35 AM I have the WS6 takeoff on my car. Sounds nice, no interior resonance. On my car its louder than a stock LS1 car. But then again i've heard people complain that the takeoff sounded terrible on their car. john00V6A4 12-18-2002, 09:00 PM i would say the loudmouth out of those choices you gave pastrdcp 12-19-2002, 10:01 PM I really like my Edelbrock cat back, very mellow at 2500 to 3500 and no rasp at 5500. CLEAR 12-19-2002, 11:03 PM Originally posted by pastrdcp I really like my Edelbrock cat back, very mellow at 2500 to 3500 and no rasp at 5500. How mellow? how loud is it? does it have the infamous nasty POPING that is most noticable in flowmaster? pastrdcp do u have instant messenger? shortdog273 12-19-2002, 11:05 PM Edelbrock, Dynomax and Flowmaster are probably the 3 cheapest catbacks out there. CLEAR 12-19-2002, 11:15 PM Originally posted by shortdog273 Edelbrock, Dynomax and Flowmaster are probably the 3 cheapest catbacks out there. cheap as in sound?? or just price? shortdog do u have a soundclip? u have dyno right? shortdog273 12-20-2002, 01:50 AM Cheap as in price. I have a dynomax catback, but sorry, no soundclip for ya. pastrdcp 12-20-2002, 05:52 AM Mellow is subjective therefore, do not know what adjectives to use, not as mellow as a V8, but very close from inside. Loudness is moderate in that it very identifiable on the track for my son to know the shift points and to treat revs carefully in the neiborhood. I have not tried instant message since my typing skills are kindegarden as is my spelling. CLEAR 12-23-2002, 07:40 PM anyone else with edelbrock? how bout ss takeoff? | ||
