Need a new DD? 1999 Accord V6 EX Coupe... PRICE REDUCED!!!
I just picked the car up from the shop yesterday, it was getting new brakes and it will also have new tires by Friday, so it'll be fresh and ready to go!!
I've been kicking around the idea of getting a new DD, but in order to make that happen I have to sell my current daily driver. Thought I'd post and see if anyone is interested before going the trade-in route. I'm located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It's a 1999 Honda Accord V6 EX coupe, the color is called Black Cherry. It has every option that Honda offered at that point: leather, sunroof, auto, power windows locks etc, power driver's seat, climate control, rear window sun screen, and many other options. One thing that I have to mention for the sake of complete honesty, I live out in the country and about a year ago at night I did contact a deer at very low speed. It was extremely minor (more the deer running into me than me running into it, lol). It smacked the driver's side door and apparently I picked the wrong shop to fix it because it isn't the greatest repair job (reflections on that door are a little wavy if you're looking for it) but it's not noticeable if it isn't pointed out to you. Also, I got in a little fender bender last year when a kid ran into the passenger rear quarter panel, but it was at VERY low speed (in a restaurant parking lot) and completely cosmetic, no mechanical damage at all. That was repaired well and there's no evidence of it. As far as the interior goes, it's in good shape. There's a small tear on the passenger side seat, but other than that everything is in good shape. Mechanically the car is in great running condition, 100% reliable. It has about 148K on the clock at this point, but the mileage is mainly highway. I've performed all the regular maintenance (oil changes, major mileage maintenance, timing chain, etc) on time and really taken care of this car. It's been my DD for the past three years and it's been a pleasure to own. I hate to see it go, but it's time for a change. KBB has it listed in good condition at $6,170 adjusted for mileage. My new asking price for a quick sale is $4,750 OBO. PM me if you're interested for more details. Thanks.
