can u make sbc valve covers fit on a lt1 heads if u drill and thread the holes, are the heads the same size valve cover wise?????

Buy the adapters for the heads. They are $50 or so.

you have to weld the heads a little where the threads need to go. Diminsion wise they are the same.

Damm u got lt1 alum. Vc for $20 thats a hell of a steel, lol!! i have been looking the cheapest i found so far was $100 for f****** VC, i hate to spend any where near that for something that is not a mod, but i want this car to look good and run good. Im in no hurry the motor is going to be out prolly 2 months, i got to buy alot of stuff and im no donald trump lol!!!

87+ SBC and LT1 valvecovers are the same. The only thing you might consider a difference is the "clearance" for the alternator.

That's what I said. If the alternator is relocated, then you don't have any issues. Get some aftermarket centerbolt valvecovers.
