1987 TPI 700R4 shifting at low RPM
After my TPI Vortec crate motor install and a Punisher 700R4 stage 2 W/lock conv. my trans is shifting at 4200rpm's.
I can manually shift but I want my car right. I have searched the net but cannot find anything on it.
How can I adjust the TV cable?

Also, the Governor has alot to do with your shift points. Gearing, tire size and weight will affect the shifting points and the governor is in direct relation to that. Always start with the stock governor and go from there. The weights affect the speed of the shift and springs tune the spread.
