yes definitly, solenoid wont open and most likely fail. Besides doesnt need to be at 1300 thats dangerous and way to high. Is the weather really really warm outside? do you have a bottle heater ? make sure it doesnt go any higher then 1000-1100 most people run just fine at around 900-950.

When I'm racing during the summer, I always have ice in a milk jug to help keep the pressure where I want it. And yes, to much pressure will close your selenoid.

The easiest way for me to drop pressure is take the bottle out of the car open the valve and release some of the nitrous yes you will lose some nitrous but it will drop pressure immediatly and it will be safe to use. When they fill up my nitrous bottle it always goes up to 1100 psi before pluggin the line back on i release some and drop the pressure.
