Well this car was stained with something...looks like a chemical was sprayed on the car etching the clear. In fact you could see drip marks. The BMW rep was called in by the owner of the car to come look at it. The owner said the only way to fix it was to paint it keep in mind this is all over the car. The owner also was against buffing said it would NOT do a thing to it. Now i tried my best to get pics of the damage. I dont have all the fancy stuff some of you guys have i am quite new to this site. Well i just saved the car . In fact a new 335 vert. was sitting next to it in the same color and the service manager said that he couldnt believe how red i had made the car. i spent hours in fact due to my many other duties it was drawn out over a few days. .here she is and the owner is picking her up tomorrow.

Did you wetsand it? Or just compound?

Why is everyone so afraid of buffing? I think they've heard too many urban legends.

Besides , re-painting is the Last you thing you want to do!
