alright dont no what this thing is but all i no is that there is like cole in it and it is fall out and i dont no if that needs to be in there.

is there no one that knows what this is. all i now is that it comes with the fuel line then goes under the throtle body and then it is right next to the evap .

Evaporator cannister purge valve. Mounts on the RH valve cover near the rear.

It's not the purge valve, it is the vacuum switch that monitors vacuum flow in the EVAP system. It is not supposed to have charcoal in it. That would be an indication that there has been too much vacuum in the system and it has sucked charcoal from the canister in the LH rear wheel well into the lines. It is often because the EVAP canister purge valve is bad or stuck open. Usually there would be a trouble code that goes along with it.

The switch, solenoid and the line should be cleaned of any charcoal.

ya shoe box you are right i do have a code relating something wrong with the fuel system. thank a lot i have this code ever since i got the car.

Probably P1441 (Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system flow during non-purge).
