Hey guys, got an idea I want to run by you all before I dig into this project.
I want to shave my door handles and still use my factory key fob for trunk release.
What I'm thinking is, I can use the existing keyless entry system to activate the solenoids. I found this schematic of the keyless entry system

Now I can clip the wires on connector 2, pins c, g, and h. Wire pin c to the drivers solenoid, and pin g to the passengers solenoid, and cap off pin h. Currently, pin c is "lock all", pin g is "unlock driver", and pin h is "unlock all".
I'm also thinking this will entail a lot less work than installing the entire system with receiver and all.
Please give me your thoughts and ideas.
